The Roots of #TreesForTraining
#TreesForTraining builds on the work we were already doing to reduce our carbon emissions. By partnering with Tree Nation, a platform dedicated to global reforestation, we plant a tree on behalf of each participant who completes one of our courses.
Our Growing Forest
Every tree planted is a small step towards carbon neutrality and a healthier planet. Metricy’s virtual forest on Tree Nation shows the cumulative impact, covering trees for general carbon offsetting, our Net Zero website contributions, and #TreesForTraining. It lets us and our participants see the growth first hand rather than take it on trust.
Nurturing Our Commitment
Once someone completes a course and its survey, we send them details on how to view the tree planted on their behalf. They can visit Metricy’s forest on Tree Nation whenever they like and see the difference their learning has made, both in their own work and in the world around them.
